Because I couldn’t find any bamboo big enough for my thumb, I had to make a piece out of solid wood. This doesn’t have the nice fit that the split bamboo does, but it has a nice chunky feel to it. Still needs to be resolved though - it doesn’t stay on well.
The small bamboo piece is for my pinky. I want to make shorter sticks like this for the rest of my fingers. It’s more versatile but has the same aural quality.
